Michigan Planting Tips and Growing Advice
Plant pothos in a general well-draining potting mix (or a soilless mix). Plan on watering every 1-2 weeks. Check the soil to make sure it feels dry before you water, then water. Pothos likes to have its soil dry out between waterings and therefore accepts erratic watering in any well-draining potting soil. Pothos like bright, indirect light. They will tolerate low light, but will not grow as quickly or compactly.
Pothos plants are not heavy feeders. You can feed the plant bi-weekly except when dormant in Winter with any balanced houseplant fertilizer.
